Colyer-Fergusson funded stonemasonry apprentice represents the UK

We are delighted to announce that Jordon Cliffe aged 21 from Ramsgate was chosen to represent the UK in Architectural Stonemasonry at EuroSkills Graz.   In 2016, Jordan was selected as a stonemasonry apprentice at Canterbury Cathedral, funded by CFCT and since then he has gone from strength to strength.  The Worshipful Company of Masons recently visited the Cathedral to present Jordan with their prestigious Tools Award.   It was a lovely occasion and the photograph shows Martin Low, Master of the Company, with Jordan and the Dean of Canterbury.

Jordan is now embarking upon the next stage of his training having successfully secured a place within the Cathedrals’ Workshop Fellowship (CWF) a centre of excellence for heritage conservation and a lead training partner of eight cathedrals and the University of Gloucestershire.

We wish Jordan every success in the future.
