CFCT gifts land to ellenor hospice

In August 1991 Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust  gave a lease at a peppercorn rent  to the Lions when they were fundraising and subsequently building the Hospice.  In 2007 the Lions Hospice merged with ellenor to become the charity it is today.    ellenor started building on the land in 1990 to provide the community with quality end of life care for adults.  Since that time ellenor has grown and expanded its services to provide care for patients of all ages with life limiting conditions along with support for family and carers. Demand for our services continues to grow and we hope to develop the hospice building to further improve our facilities to meet the needs of the community now and in the future.   In May 2019 Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust gifted the land to ellenor as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.  Trustees, staff and patients enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the garden of the hospice unveiling a plaque commemorating the gift.
