Communities programme takes off…

In response to feedback from our partners, the Trust launched its Investing in Communities Programme in October 2018 to provide grants for core costs.  Offering funding for both basic running expenditure (Stabilising) and to help develop and strengthen groups (Extending), the programme has proved popular with a growing number of applications submitted in the first three months.  So far, Colyer-Fergusson’s Trustees have been delighted to approve and commit over £70,000 to six small non-profit groups providing services to a wide range of Kent based clients. These include a forest school, CAB Advice Centre and a day centre for homeless people.

Aimed at organisations with income of less than £500,000, the fund is designed to give smaller sized grants that will have high impact, supporting groups to continue to deliver.  We’ve kept the application process as simple as possible and encourage those who think they might be eligible to have a close look at the funding criteria on this website whilst also reviewing examples of grants already approved and our case studies.  Colyer-Fergusson staff recently attended the Kent and Medway Funding Fair and we’re expecting a significant increase in applications for our Investing in Communities Programme.  So, if you think your organisation could benefit, please take the time to investigate all of Colyer-Fergusson’s new programmes.
