The Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust makes grants to charities and churches in Kent with the aim of improving the quality of life for local people. Following a detailed review of the Trust's grant-making priorities the Trustees are delighted to launch two new funding programmes: East Kent Rural & Community Grants and Kent-wide Church Repair Grants.

The online application forms for these programmes are now available below. We strongly recommend that you download the application questions in advance and prepare your answers before beginning your online application.

East Kent Rural and Community Grants
Helping communities to help themselves
This grants programme is targeted at projects in East Kent that propose innovative ways of tackling rural and coastal community problems, or create a wider range of opportunities in these areas.

Colyer-Fergusson Major Church Awards
In 2007 the Trustees awarded a total of £2,161,000 to nine parish churches and the Priory of St Mildred (Minster Abbey) under its' major Church Awards Programme in Kent. The grants ranged from £150, 000 to £400,000 and the full list and details can be seen under 'Recent Grants' above. This programme is now closed.
